History

The Topsham Music Festival was founded in 2023 with the aim of benefiting talented young musicians and the community, by providing performance opportunities as well as bringing people together from the local community and beyond.

The idea of creating the Festival also came in response to the 2020 Covid pandemic, which had a major effect on the arts by limiting performance opportunities, and to the cuts in public funding for music events which have been made in recent years.

We aim to make our musicians feel welcome; we hope that they will enjoy performing in Topsham, and that our concert-goers, equally, enjoy the high quality music performances the Festival is able to offer
