Programme

Carl Vine: Bagatelle No.1 “Darkly“
Beethoven: Piano Sonata No.31 in A-flat Major, Op.110
I. Moderato cantabile molto espressivo
II. Allegro molto
III. Adagio ma non troppo – Allegro ma non troppo

Albéniz: Iberia Book 1
I. Evocación
II. El Puerto
III. El Corpus Christi en Sevilla

Wagner/Liszt: “Liebestod”, from Tristan und Isolde, S.447
(Possible encores: Granados Allegro de Concierto, Chopin Nocturne Op.62/1)

I look forward to featuring a wide palette of works, ranging from the classics, like Beethoven, to the vivid
impressionists such as Albéniz, and even illusive contemporary works by the likes of Carl Vine. My aim is to create a cohesive programme; a real “Zeitreise” through music.
